Ice Hockey New South Wales have released the roster for the Sydney Sabres ahead of the 2022–23 AJIHL season which is set to begin on 16 November at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium. Seven players, Mackenzie Bolger, James Douchkov, Zigmond Janiszewski, Max Miller, Noah Moncrieff, Thomas Moncrieff, Taegan Rippon, return to the Sabres after having played in the team’s last season in 2019–20. Brad Demmitt and Luka Dimopoulos both join the team after playing for the Sydney Wolf Pack in the previous season.
