The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost 1–2 to the Great Britain women’s national under-18 team in their final game of the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division II Group A tournament. Australia’s sole goal of the game was scored by Elizabeth Marshall. The IIHF award for best Australian player of the match was given to Katrina Rapchuk and Phoebe Roberts was selected as the best Australian player of the tournament.
In the other games of the day Latvia shutout Turkey 1–0 and the Netherlands defeated Mexico 3–1. Australia finishes the tournament in first place with twelve points and is promoted to Division I Group B for 2024. Latvia comes in second followed by the Netherlands in third, both on ten points. Mexico finishes the tournament in last place and is relegated to Division II Group B for 2024.
