The Perth Thunder have added forward Lachlan Sucher to their roster for the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Lucher spent 2022–23 playing for Nyköpings SK’s J18 and J20 teams in the J18 Division 1 and the J20 Region respectively. With the J18 team Sucher competed in 21 games and recorded 27 points and with the J20 team he made a brief one game appearance in their relegation post-season. Sucher also recently represented the Australian men’s under-18 team at the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championships where he scored a goal and two assists from three games.
