Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2022–23 season. Today is Part 5 of 5 featuring Australians in Canada.

Phoebe Roberts: Third season with Athol Murray College of Notre Dame. Playing on their Hounds Midget AAA team in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League Roberts recorded 14 points from 29 games. During the season she also took time away from Athol Murray College to represent Australia at the 2023 U18 Women’s World Championships.

Benjamin Shearer: After spending the off-season representing Western Australia at the 2022 Kurt Defris National Championship and 2022 Sydney Tange National Championship Shearer joined Pilot Mound Academy for his first season. Playing on their under-15 Prep team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League’s U15 division Shearer recorded 20 points from his 28 games.

Chris Slauenwhite: Second season with the St. Walburg Eagles. Playing in the SaskAlta Senior Hockey League Slauenwhite posted a 0.875 save percentage and a 5.17 goals against average in six games.

Finn Withey: Third season with the University of Victoria. Playing in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League Withey competed in 17 games, recording a goal and eight assists.
