Ice Hockey Victoria have named the head coaches for four of the upcoming national championships. James Galdes takes on the role for the State 13 & under team. He replaces Justin Sheppard who has taken over the head coaching position with the State 15 & under team from Joey Hughes who coached the team in 2023. Hughes himself moves across to the State 18 & under team where he replaces Andrew Erzen as head coach. Finally, Emma Poynton has been named the head coach of the State women’s team, replacing Rod Johns who led the team in 2022 and 2023.
