2024 Women’s U18 World Championships: Australia loses to Poland

The Australia women’s national under-18 team have lost 0–5 to the Polish women’s national under-18 in their fourth game of the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B tournament in Jaca, Spain. The IIHF award for best Australian player of the match was given to forward Elana Holub.

In the other games of the day South Korea defeated Chinese Taipei 6–1 and Norway beat Spain 2–1. At the end of the fourth round Australia remains in fourth place on the standings, while Norway continues to lead with twelve points. Australia takes on Chinese Taipei today for their final game of the tournament. The two teams last met at the 2020 World Championships where Chinese Taipei won 4–3.
