The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Canadian defender Bray Crowder for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Crowder is currently playing for the Adirondack Thunder in the ECHL where he has a goal and an assist from nine games. His 2023–24 ECHL season has also seen him play nine games for the Allen Americans and twelve for the Indy Fuel before being traded to Adirondack in January. Prior to making his ECHL debut in 2022 Crowder had spent four seasons playing in the NCAA’s Division I and a season in the United States Hockey League.
Update (25 April 2024): Crowder is now classed as a local player for the Ice Dogs after receiving his Australian citizenship.
