The Sydney Bears have appointed Tyler Huberty to the position of head coach ahead of the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. He replaces Ron Kuprowsky who left the club in October 2023 to sign with the Central Coast Rhinos. Huberty is currently an assistant coach for the University of Oklahoma’s men’s team which competes in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Western Collegiate Hockey League, a position he has held since 2020.
