The Sydney Bears have announced the signing of American forward Adam Kadlec for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Between 2015 and 2017 Kadlec competed in the Western Hockey League, first with the Prince George Cougars and then later with the Prince Albert Raiders.

Starting the 2017–18 season Kadlec left Prince Albert to play in the Ontario Hockey League, signing with the Oshawa Generals before shifting across to the Windsor Spitfires. Part way through the season Kadlec relocated to the United States to join the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League. He then moved for a final time to join the Corpus Christi IceRays in the North American Hockey League. His playing career then halted due to injury before returning in 2024 to sign with the Sydney Bears.
