The Australian para national team have been confirmed as one of the participants for the upcoming 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championships Pool C tournament. The competition is set to be held at the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena in Bangkok, Thailand and run from 25 November to 30 November 2024. It will involve up to six teams with Australia being one of the three confirmed teams to date. Along with Australia, the other two teams currently confirmed are Thailand, who finished fifth in last year’s Pool C, and Finland, who were relegated from last year’s Pool B. The Australian players are expected to be mostly drawn from the development squad that Ice Hockey Australia announced back in November 2023.
