Day 29 of the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with the Melbourne Mustangs defeating the Melbourne Ice 7–3 at the O’Brien Icehouse. In the Hellyer Conference, the Sydney Bears remain in first, edging out the Melbourne Ice on win percentage. In the Rurak Conference, the Newcastle Northstars remain at the top of the standings, twelve points clear of the second placed Canberra Brave. The Sydney Bears also continue to lead the league’s combined standings with the Melbourne Ice in second and the Perth Thunder in third. Competition resumes on 29 June with games in Canberra, Central Coast, Melbourne Ice, and Sydney.
