Day 36 of the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with the Melbourne Mustangs defeating the Melbourne Ice 9–2 at the O’Brien Icehouse. In the Hellyer Conference, the Sydney Bears remain in first place with a thirteen-point lead over the Melbourne Ice in second. In the Rurak Conference, the Newcastle Northstars remain at the top of the standings, six points clear of the second placed Canberra Brave. The Sydney Bears also continue to lead the league’s combined standings with the Melbourne Ice in second and the Perth Thunder in third. Competition resumes on 20 July with games in Adelaide, Central Coast, Melbourne, and Sydney.
