Australians overseas 2023–24: Canada (part 1)

Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2023–24 season. Today is Part 1 of 7 featuring Australians in Canada.

Calvin Bright: Second season with the Langley Trappers in the Pacific Junior Hockey League after making a brief one game appearance for the club in 2022–23. Competing in 36 games for Langley during the season Bright recorded a goal and three assists.

Fred Coutts: First season in the North Central Hockey League after spending the last seven in the SaskAlta Senior Hockey League. Playing for the Morinville Kings Coutts recorded three assists from 17 games.

Isaac Davison: First season in Canada. Playing for the Nanton Palominos in the Ranchland Hockey League Davison competed in 14 games, recording three goals and four assists.

Emily Davis-Tope: Fifth season with Ontario Tech University. Playing in the U Sports women’s hockey program Davis-Tope recorded two goals and two assists in her 28 games.

Natasha Dube: Second season with the East Ottawa Stars. Playing on their under-22 AA team Dube competed in the Ontario Women’s Hockey League’s U22 AA division where she recorded nine goals and nine assists from 36 games. During the season Dube also took time away from East Ottawa to represent Australia at the 2024 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championships.
