Melbourne Ice goaltender Thomas Forrest has signed with the Port Alberni Bombers of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League for the 2024–25 season. It is Forrest’s first season in Canada having spent the last two off-seasons playing in the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League.
