
Ice Hockey New South Wales and Ice Hockey Queensland have announced the creation the 20U Men’s Ice Hockey State of Origin Series. The competition will include six games across three weekends between February and March 2025. The two states’ men’s 20 & under teams will play four games at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium in Newcastle and two at Iceworld Boondall in Brisbane.

- 22 October 2024: The two state associations seem to have changed the age eligibility of the teams from under-20 to 20 & under.
- 3 February 2025: Game time for the 8 February and 22 February changed from 17:15 to 17:00. Game time for the 9 February and 23 February changed from 09:30 to 09:00.
