Australian men’s U18 roster for the 2025 World Championships

Ice Hockey Australia have released the roster for the Australian men’s national under-18 team which will compete in the upcoming 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division II Group B tournament. The competition will take place from 17 March to 23 March 2025 in Sofia, Bulgaria with Australia competing against Belgium, Bulgaria, Chinese Taipei, Serbia, and Spain.

Comparing the roster to the team that competed at the 2024 World Championships it includes seven returning players and fourteen new signings, while fourteen players players have been dropped.

The fourteen new signings for the team are Hugo Arps, Rowan Barrett, Logan Brodie, Tobie Gilchrist, Arki Hearn, Rafael Lakandula, Luka Loria, Nikita Loria, Keenan Nelson, Thomas Papas, Benjamin Shearer, Colby Shumak, Jackson Staneke, and Kael Telfer. Taj Lowrey was also named as a new signing for the team but was later dropped from the roster.

The thirteen players not returning for 2025 include Hugh Campbell, Tyler Colev, Marcus Henderson, Jed Jameson, Daniel Koudelka, Ivan Kuleshov, Luka Ouimette, Tyrone Oxlade, David Quinn, Cody Reader, Lachlan Sucher, Mac Tutton, and Benjamin Warden. Bodie Jerome, originally named on the roster, was later dropped.
