Perth Thunder has announced the re-signing of Finnish forward Ville Tenosalmi for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. After two seasons playing as an import, Tenosalmi will count as a local player on the team’s roster after receiving his permanent residency during the off-season. Tenosalmi played 24 games for Perth in 2024, scoring 12 goals and 15 assists. Since making his league debut in 2023, he has competed in 50 AIHL games and recorded 46 points.
