Melbourne Ice has announced the re-signing of forward Joey Hughes for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Hughes competed in 27 games for Melbourne in 2024, scoring 18 goals and 29 assists. Since making his league debut in 2005, he has competed in 296 AIHL games and recorded 497 points.
