Melbourne Ice has announced the re-signing of defenceman Jacob Laver for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Laver played 27 games for Melbourne in 2024, recording five assists. Since making his league debut in 2022, he has competed in 65 AIHL games and recorded eleven points.
