Melbourne Ice has announced the signing of Danish defenceman Sebastian Bergholt for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Bergholt has spent 2024–25 playing for the Rødovre Mighty Bulls in the Metal Ligaen where he has two goals and ten assists from 46 games.
Between 2009 and 2025, Bergholt has spent 14 seasons playing in the Metal Ligaen and four in the Divisionen. He is also a former representative of the Danish national team having competed in five international games between 2018 and 2020.
