The Newcastle Northstars have added defenceman Tyrone Oxlade and forward Dylan Penhall to their roster for the 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League season.
Oxlade played 26 games for the Sydney Bears in his 2024 debut season, recording one assist. During the AIHL’s offseason, he has been playing for the West Chester Wolves in the United States Premier Hockey League’s Premier division where he scored a goal across eight games.
Penhall spent 2024 playing for the Newcastle Northstars’ East Coast Super League (ECSL) team where he scored seven goals and three assists from 21 games. Between 2020 and 2024, he has competed in 80 ECSL games and recorded 69 points.
