The Sydney Bears have announced the signing of defenceman Ryan Annesley for the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Annesley last played for Sydney in 2024 and spent 2025 playing for the Newcastle Northstars where he scored five goals and eleven assists from 13 games. Since making his league debut in 2016, he has competed in 134 AIHL games and recorded 175 points.
