Australian men’s under-18 team loses exhibition game to Deggendorfer SC U18 in a shootout

The Australian men’s national under-18 team have lost 6–7 following a shootout to Deggendorfer SC U18 in an exhibition game at Hitzkopf-Arena in Deggendorf, Germany. The match was held as part of the team’s training camp before the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division II Group B tournament which starts on 5 April. The two teams are expected to faceoff again on 2 April for their second exhibition game.
