The Sydney Bears have signed goaltender Connor Dowell for the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Dowell last appeared in the AIHL in 2024 where he served as a backup goaltender for the Sydney Ice Dogs. Since making his league debut in 2022, he has competed in four AIHL games and averages a save percentage of 0.702.
During the 2025 season, Dowell played for the Reach Rebels in the East Coast Super League where he recorded a save percentage of 0.857 and a goals against average of 4.43 across four games.
