The Sydney Bears have signed goaltender Hayden Plimley for the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Plimley spent 2025–26 playing for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s (ACHA) Division 2 where he averaged a save percentage of 0.913 and a goals against average of 2.19 across seven games. Before joining Rensselaer, Plimley had spent the 2024–25 season playing in the Eastern Hockey League and the Eastern Hockey League’s Premier Division.
