Round 9 of the 2026 East Coast Super League (ECSL) regular season has finished with a win for the Polyflor Raptors, while the Newcastle Northstars and Sydney Bombers played out a four-all draw. The Sydney Bombers move into first place on the standings, two points ahead of the now second-placed Newcastle Northstars. Competition resumes on 14 June with the Sydney Heat hosting the Newcastle Northstars and the Reach Rebels taking on the Polyflor Raptors, with both games being held at Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Rink.

In other league updates, last week’s cancelled game between the Reach Rebels and Sydney Heat has been declared a nil-all draw, with the teams sharing the points. The league also announced that after a review, the Newcastle Northstars had fielded an ineligible (unregistered) player in their 2 May game against the Reach Rebels and their 9 May game against the Sydney Heat. As a result, both games have been declared a 2–0 forfeits in favour of the Reach Rebels and Sydney Heat.
