2026 Kurt Defris National Championship: 14 July results and standings

Day 5 of the 2026 Kurt Defris National Championship saw the completion of the preliminary round with wins for New South Wales and Victoria. Victoria finished at the top of the standings and advanced to the semifinal against the fourth-placed Western Australia. Queensland finished second and moved through to the semifinal against New South Wales. ACT/South Australia meanwhile finished the preliminary round in fifth place and fails to advance.

In the first semifinal, Victoria defeated Western Australia 11–1 and in the second semifinal, Queensland beat New South Wales 4–3 following overtime. Competition resumes on 15 July with Queensland taking on Victoria in the gold medal game, while New South Wales and Western Australia will play for bronze.
