The Colts have defeated the Chargers 5–4 in Game 4 of the 2026 Melbourne Mustangs Junior Showcase Series at O’Brien Icehouse. The series is a tournament run by the Melbourne Mustangs to provide development to junior players in Victoria and serve as a replacement for the inactive Australian Junior Ice Hockey League. The Colts currently lead the series two games to one. Competition resumes on 17 September for Game 5 at O’Brien Icehouse.
