The Newcastle Northstars have won the Warwick Griffith Memorial Trophy after defeating the Polyflor Raptors 4–3 following overtime in game three of the 2026 East Coast Super League (ECSL) finals, claiming the series two games to one. The series had been forced to a deciding game three after the Polyflor Raptors won game one last Saturday, and the Newcastle Northstars won game two last Sunday. The win gives the Newcastle Northstars their sixth title overall and first since 2023.
