The Melbourne Ice have defeated the Monarchs 4–2 in their seventh game of the 2021-22 IHV Senior Summer League Division 2 season. The Ice remain third on the standings and are eight points behind the Braves who currently lead the league. The Ice are back in action on 11 February when they take on the Blackhawks at the O’Brien Icehouse.
