The Sydney Sirens have been competing in the 2022 Ice Hockey NSW Senior Division 2 season during the AWIHL off-season. With the Sirens failing to qualify for the playoffs this ends our coverage of the Division 2 season. Coverage of the Sirens will continue as they compete in the 2022-23 AWIHL season which is expected to start in around a month’s time.
The Sydney Sirens have finished September in the 2022 Ice Hockey NSW Senior Division 2 season with a nil-all draw against the the Canterbury Cubes, the match seemingly being cancelled. The Sirens end the regular season ninth place and fail to advance to the playoffs. The Central Coast Stingrays claim the league’s regular season title with 34 points, eight ahead of the second placed Norwest Emperors.
