The final day of the 2023 Jim Brown National Championship has finished with Victoria defeating New South Wales 2–1 following a shootout to claim the gold medal, their first since 2016. Victoria had advanced to the gold medal game following their semifinal win against Queensland while New South Wales had qualified after defeating the Australian Capital Territory in their semifinal. In the bronze medal game, the Australian Capital Territory defeated Queensland 6–2.
The Australian Capital Territory’s Casey Kubara finished as the tournament’s top scorer with six goals and ten assists from six games. Victoria’s Thomas Forrest led the goaltending statistics with a 0.939 save percentage and a 1.05 goals against average.
