Australians overseas 2023–24: United States (part 9)

Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2023–24 season. Today is Part 9 of 9 featuring Australians in the United States. The final part of this series, Australians in New Zealand, will be published following the end of the NZIHL season in September.

Samuel Tsao: Third season with Millbrook School. Playing in the United States High School’s Preparatory system, Tsao recorded five goals and eight assists from 30 games.

Nathan Walker (AHL profile and NHL profile): Fifth season with the St. Louis Blues organisation. Starting the season off in the American Hockey League with St. Louis’ affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, Walker competed in 30 games, scoring 13 goals and 16 assists. In January, Walker joined the St. Louis roster for the remainder of the National Hockey League season where he recorded seven goals and six assists in 45 games. Heading into 2024–25, Walker will compete in his sixth season for St. Louis having extended his contract back in January.

Arthur Wang (AAU statistics): Second season with Johns Hopkins University. Playing in the Amateur Athletic Union College Hockey’s (AAU) Division III, Wang recorded four goals and an assist from five games.
