The Brisbane Lightning Women have announced the appointment of Marina Yacub to the position of team manager for the upcoming 2024–25 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season. Yacub has previously served as trainer for the Brisbane Lightning men’s team, Niagara Riverhawks of the Provincial Junior Hockey League, and the Halton Hurricanes of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association.
