The Australian women’s national team have won their final group stage match and their first game of the playoffs at the 2019 Taiwan Cup Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament. Australia won their final game of the group stage, defeating Hong Kong WIHO ELITE 3-2, finishing third in Group A. Australia then advanced to the 5th to 8th playoffs where they were drawn against Group B’s India. Australia defeated India 6-1 and advanced to today’s 5th-6th placement game.
