2016 ECSL season

2016 ECSL season: Round 19

Round 19 of the 2016 East Coast Super League season has finished with the Reach Rebels defeating the Penrith Raptors 5-2 in the weekends only game. The round originally had two games scheduled however the Saturday match between the Blueline Bombers and Sydney Sting was cancelled due to a lack of officials. Ice Hockey NSW is yet to determine if this game will be played at a later date. The Rebels remain on top of the standings, six points clear of the second placed North Stars. Next week the ECSL will be hosting their All Star Charity Game at the Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink on Saturday. Then on Sunday the Rebels host the Sting in Liverpool and the North Stars take on the Bombers in Penrith.

2016 ECSL season: Round 12

Round 12 of the 2016 East Coast Super League season has finished without a game being played. The match between the Blueline Bombers and the Sydney Sting had to be postponed due to flooding at the Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Rink. A new date for the game as yet to be announced. The ECSL resumes next week with the Raptors hosting the North Stars in Penrith and the Sting take on the Rebels in Liverpool.
