The Melbourne Mustangs have announced the promotion of Michael Flaherty to the head coach position for the upcoming 2016 season. Assisting Flaherty will be Jon Moses and Damian Holland, both former representatives of the Australian national team.

Front Office changes will see Myles Harris take over the position of Vice President from Andrew McDowell as he steps down to focus on the position of Director of Hockey Operations. The Mustangs also announced the appointment of Hamish Jones to the position of Marketing Manager.
