– Rookie of the Year: Corey Stringer
– Most Improved: Luke Fisher

– Fan Favourite: Jamie Bourke
– MOAT’s Head, Heart, Hockey Award: Michael McMahon
– Outstanding Service Award: Rick Dwyer

AIHL news: 2 April 2016

CBR Brave
– The Brave have re-signed goaltender Aleksi Toivonen for the 2016 season. Toivonen played in 11 games for the Brave last season and finished the regular season with a save percentage of 0.884. During the AIHL off-season Toivonen has been playing KaKiPo U20 in the Jr. A Suomi-sarja league were he finished with a save percentage of 0.905 from 11 games.

Melbourne Mustangs
– The Mustangs have announced the signing defenceman James Isaacs for 2016. Isaacs has spent the 2015-16 season playing for Coventry Blaze in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). 2015-16 was Isaacs third season in the EIHL having previously played three seasons in the ECHL and two in the Southern Professional Hockey League. Sydney Ice Dogs
– The Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Charlie Smart for the upcoming 2016 season. Smart spent last season playing for the Adelaide Adrenaline and finished with a save percentage of 0.894 from 23 games. During the AIHL off-season Smart has been playing in the North American 3 Hockey League for the St. Louis Jr. Blues and the Bozeman Icedogs. For more information see the announcement by the club.
