The Melbourne Mustangs have announced the assistant coach Mark Connolly has stepped down from his position citing the need for a rest from the high demand of the AIHL. Connolly has been replaced by Michael Flaherty who is the current head coach of the AJIHL’s Melbourne Whalers and the Saints-Monarchs Premier A team. The team also announced the current head coach Brad Vigon has re-signed for the 2015 season.
