Round 6 of the 2016-17 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season has finished with wins for the Brisbane Goannas and Sydney Sirens. The Sirens remain on top of the standings, four points clear of the second placed Goannas. Competition resumes on 4 February with the Sirens hosting the Goannas in Canterbury and the Rush taking on the Ice in Melbourne.
