Following on from the Mustangs announcement the Melbourne Ice have announced that they will also compete in two exhibition games against the New Zealand men’s national team. The games will be held on 25 and 30 March at the O’Brien Group Arena, serving as New Zealand’s warm up for the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division II Group B tournament.
