Round 13 of the 2017 Australian Ice Hockey League season has finished with wins for the CBR Brave, Melbourne Mustangs, Melbourne Ice, Newcastle Northstars and Sydney Ice Dogs. The Ice remain on top of the standings, four points clear of the second placed Thunder. Next week seven teams are in action across six games while the Adrenaline sit the round out on a bye.
Round 13 was also the league’s pride round which was held to help raise awareness for the LGBTIQ community. As part of the round the Mustangs wore a pride themed rainbow jersey in their Saturday game against the Northstars.
