Round 1 of the 2018 East Coast Super League season has finished with wins for the Nudo Bombers, Sydney Sting and Newcastle North Stars. The North Stars finish the first round on top of the standings, equal on point with the Sting and Bombers. Competition resumes on 7 April with the North Stars hosting the Sting and the Rebels take on the Raptors in Canterbury.
In a change during the off-season the Blueline Bombers have been renamed the Nudo Bombers following a sponsorship change. The club however has yet to make an official announcement.
