Round 1 of the 2018-19 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season has finished with the Melbourne Ice defeating the Brisbane Goannas in both games of their double header. As a result of their wins the Ice sit six points clear at the top of the standings. Next week the Sydney Sirens host the Ice in Liverpool.
The AWIHL have also announced that they will live stream the entire season in partnership with Thought Fox Media Group and released a promo video to mark the announcement.
