Australian overseas: Tim Newmark

Defenceman Tim Newmark recently completed his first season with IF Mölndal Hockey. During the 2019-20 season Newmark played for IF Mölndal’s main team and their under-20 team. Playing on their main team in the Hockeytvåan Newmark recorded three points from 15 games while on their under-20 team in the J20 Elit he played four games without scoring. Newmark started playing overseas in 2011, playing junior hockey in the United States. Since then he has played another four seasons in the United States and a season in France.

Locally Newmark is a member of the AIHL’s Sydney Bears and was part of the team that won the 2019 Goodall Cup. He is a former representative of the Australian under-18 and under-20 teams playing in one under-18 World Championships and two under-20 World Championships from 2010 to 2013.
