Australians overseas: Sara Sammons

Forward Sara Sammons recently completed her first season with Anna Maria College. Playing in the NCAA’s Division III she finished the 2019-20 season with five points from 14 games. Prior to joining Anna Maria College Sammons had spent the last two seasons playing for Newbridge Academy in the CAHS. Locally Sammons is a member of the AWIHL’s Perth Inferno debuting for the club in the 2019-20 season. She is a former member of the Australian women’s and women’s under-18 having last played for both teams in 2019. In the national competitions Sammons has represented Western Australia in the Ginsberg and DeFris national championships.
