Tyrone Bronte has announced his committment to the University of Alabama-Huntsville (UAH) for the upcoming 2020-21 season. UAH are part of the NCAA’s Division I and had only recently reinstated the ice hockey program after a successful fundraising campaign.
Bronte has spent the last three seasons playing in the North American Hockey League for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights and was captain of the team during the 2019-20 season. During the same three year period he also had a brief three game stint with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League.
