Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) have announced the takeover of the Australian Para Ice Hockey Association (APIHA) following a mutual agreement between the two organisations. The IHA will now act as the governing body for para ice hockey in Australia with a national portfolio being created within their structure to oversee the sport. The move is expected to reduce costs for para ice hockey, assist in grant applications and help develop para ice hockey programs across the country.
