The Melbourne Ice have announced the appointment of Chris Yule to the position of head coach for the 2021 season. Yule replaces Mike Marshall who had been in the role since November 2019 but never coached a game due to the cancellation of the 2020 season. Yule is a former player for the Ice having been part of the team in 2016 where he appeared in 24 games and recorded 33 points.
