The CBR Brave have defeated the Newcastle Northstars 4–2 in game nine of the 2021 McCormack Cup. Following their win the Brave extend their lead at the top of the standings to nine points over of the second placed Northstars. Competition resumes on 26 June with the Sydney Ice Dogs hosting the Brave at Erina Ice Arena.
